Article three: When was English invented and what for?

English was originally invented in the 5th century as a language inspired by the Germanic tribes around 450-1100 AD. Which spread to modern day Great Britain, english speaking countries now consists of the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and India. Which were either former British colonies or protectorates in the British commonwealth. English has evolved alot, from an Celtic language, to Old english, to Middle English, to Early Modern English, to Late Modern English (Now)
